Saturday was used to practice, and get as many laps as possible. Last time in Tinglev, I took the overall win in the Super Stock class, so started with almost same setup. This time I felt that I needed some other changes to get my car good enough, so tried some different things. By the absolutely end of the day, we had a car that was fast enough, so time to sleep before race day.
Sunday morning we was ready at the track, and checked the setup one last time before the two first controlled practice rounds.
I took both rounds, but it was clear that it would be very close in top three. My car felt great from the start on the new race tires, so was really pleased.
First qual round was very good. Finished 2nd only 2/10 after DHI-Cup 2018 winner Patrick Folman, very pleased with that.

Second and third qual round was very bad this time. The grip was good from the morning until Q2, but afterwards the surface changed a lot, and got very slippery in some places, forcing me to either slow down, or take a different line to avoid and unstable rear end. I rolled my car twice in Q2 and one more time in Q3, as the rear end stepped out. Not happy with that performance at all, so started the finals from 3rd spot. Normally very satisfied with this, but not this time.
First final, again some mistakes on the slippery track, but ended in 3rd spot.
Second final, we found some more grip (thanks to Chris Nielsen for super cooperation) and my car was a bit better afterwards, so I could push more again. I was right behind the bumper of the second car for half a lap, stressing him as much as possible, and then I made a mistake so I could pass. Ended 2nd.
Folman had already the win, so the battle was on for 2nd spot. Tried to push max on the car in front of me again, but he made no mistakes this time. Still got a chance, but when I should overtake another car with 1 lap, he gave me the place, but accidentally hit me so I rolled, then the last chance was gone. Took the 3rd place in the last final, and overall.
